Reliability and repeatability in real operating environments

All our UAVs are designed in a specialized way to carry multiple, swappable payload sensors providing a unique advantage to our clients. We have developed multi-rotors as well as fixed-wing VTOLs capable of negotiating the harshest environments while meeting objectives with absolute precision.

From the founder's desk

SkyMinds was started by engineers who got tired of flying other people's aircraft and apologising for other people's data. We spent three years in mission mode building systems we would be willing to stake a survey on.

Everything is ours: the airframes, the ground control software, the payload integration and the processing pipeline. When a client needs something the system does not do yet, we change the system rather than explain the limitation.

If you have a site that has been called difficult, that is usually the conversation we want to have.

The SkyMinds engineering team

R. Venkatesh, Survey Lead, Mining Group
They flew a pit we'd been told was unmappable in monsoon season and still hit our accuracy spec. The volumetrics reconciled against ground survey.
Anjali Mehra, GIS Manager, Infrastructure
Swappable payloads meant one mobilisation instead of three. That alone paid for the engagement.
Col. S. Rathore (Retd.), Programme Director
The GCS is theirs, so when we needed a custom flight pattern they changed it. No vendor ticket queue.
Deepak Nair, Head of Operations, Energy
Data arrived clean and georeferenced. Our processing team had almost nothing to fix.
Priya Ramanathan, Technical Director, Agritech
Endurance numbers held up in real conditions, not just on the datasheet. That's rarer than it should be.
